Installation Process

Hai Kang Steel Metal Door Frames, whther is is the Hai Kang Steel KD-118 Knocked-Down System or the BU-118 Built Up System, are manufactured to perfection complete with quality in-vuilt hinger, door stops and arcitraves, striker plate and lock pocket and shock absorbing buffers. Futher strengthrened by the dual spreader bars at the heels, the Hai Kang Steel Metal Door Frames form an integral aprt of the wall and hence add to its structural strength.

Hai Kang Steel Metal Door Frames give user the flexibility of either integrating them with feature facia bricks or plastering. All Hai Kang Steel metal Door Frames are made to the exact requirements of the doors for which they are intended. With the wire brick ties (to brickworks) or R.C. column adaptors / adaptor straps, the Hai Kang Steel Metal Door Frames require no nails or lintels but just 6 easy steps of installation shown below:

STEP 1

Identify brickwork location and door position

STEP 2

To prop up metal door frame, use two planks with nails at the ends. Ensure the correct direction of your door hinge then erect the dorr frame. The nails on the plank should hook to the edge of the frame.

STEP 3

To check whether the frame properly plumbeb, use a spirit leveler.

STEP 4

Begin brickwork by laying the brick into the rebate behind the back of the metal door frame.

STEP 5

Brickwork is done by placing mortar into each gap between the brick and frame for each layer. This is to ensure that the frame is properly filled to give rigidity and strength by becoming an integral part of the structure.

STEP 6

Special wire brick ties come with each metal door frame. These ties are for binding the bricks. When mortar is set, remove the spreader bars at base of the metal door frame.
